But The White Lotus - s2 in particular - is for SURE up there, and easily the best show of 2022. 

 

TV is really SMASHING these days quite honestly. 

Maybe it's because it saw it back to back but I liked season 1 a little more. The Hotel manager was an amazing character in season 1. But I loved Jennifer in season two more than I did in season one. Season two got a little convoluted to reach the death scene. It would only have been more unbelievable if those people hired intelligent sharks with lasers to kill the person who dies. 

 

And season one was the first time I've ever seen a manic portrayed on TV.

It's fairly entertaining, but there's so much unnecessary sex scenes.

I watched S2 and I thought it was insanely boring, only the last scene with Tanya made me chuckle

But Succession, Veep, 30 Rock, Curb, and Girls all end it, just from my perspective

i don't think its the best ever, but it definitely shifted something for me. since i watched s2 i've found it hard to connect with any other shows. the mix of the natural writing and nuance performances everything else feels so scripted and contrived now. hoping last of us will break this curse
