Wow I had absolutely no idea, thanks for sharing that eye opening information

What I was trying to get at was that it was very clear they were working OT on the marketing; I know the production cost was quite low compared to a lot of studio priorities but I'd be curious to see how much they spent on marketing.

Not much. Much of the marketing is typical fare for a horror film. Tiktok picking it up and blowing it sky-high is what did the trick.

They spent $30M worldwide in marketing. Isn't significantly high for movies that get TV spots and eeal world marketing. M3GAN will still be significantly profitable with that Ad spending.

In comparison, online marketing focused horror film usually spent around $10M. (e.g The Invitation, A24's horror films, Barbarian)

Ps. The budget for the film is only $12M

nnn; This was great? :toofunny2: I didn’t expect to like it nearly as much as I did.

The camp could have been turned up just a tiny bit more and the finale a bit grander, other than that very solid and doing what it had to. :clap3:
