Henry Torres Posted January 7, 2023 Posted January 7, 2023 I didn't find a thread about it This show is literally a factory of memes It's insanely timeless Season 21 premiered on September 25, 2022 and it's still going. Latest episodes are really good

Isaiah Posted January 7, 2023 Posted January 7, 2023 Ngl the last few seasons really lost me, but this season has been a major comeback
WildAmerican Posted January 7, 2023 Posted January 7, 2023 (edited) this season has been good, I'm surprised after the last few glad they stopped relying on bits that take up like 2 - 3 minutes of episode runtime Edited January 7, 2023 by WildAmerican

Schami66 Posted January 7, 2023 Posted January 7, 2023 (edited) I looooove Family Guy so much. It's always weird for me, when people say that they didn't enjoy some seasons. I think all have amazing episodes and some that are not so good but overall there was never a season, that I didn't enjoy. Edit: with the Simpsons, i get it. They lost their groove many years ago. They lost their groove many years ago. the problem with Family Guy is that over the years the episodes became more and more lazily written. just nonsensical plots to frame cutaways. compare that to the writing of American Dad which is always creative and out-of-the-box. the worst part is that they made a lot of the characters unlikeable, specially Lois. i do enjoy the newer episodes. they obviously got new writers

I like Lois a lot and think she has more character than ever. She's my favorite character only behind Stewie. And I think American Dad really evolved in a different direction - both shows are sooo good and funny. I feel like Family Guy is meant to appeal to a wider audience while American Dad is a little bit more crass than Family Guy already is.
Dark Poet Posted January 7, 2023 Posted January 7, 2023 Love this show. Louis and Stewie are my favourites. Can't wait to see it's take on EEAAO.
Sergi91 Posted January 8, 2023 Posted January 8, 2023 Currently rewatching the first couple of seasons.
rooby.booby Posted January 8, 2023 Posted January 8, 2023 (edited) Family Guy is really doing it this season. Edited January 8, 2023 by rooby.booby
Virgos Groove Posted January 15, 2023 Posted January 15, 2023 At this point, I'm convinced they're catering to the gays, because why is this the PERFECT reaction video?
ATRL Moderator Legend E Posted January 15, 2023 ATRL Moderator Posted January 15, 2023 based on the memes I would LOVE to watch this, but I never know with these animated series, do I really have to watch every season to understand the whole plot or can I just watch some essential episodes and that's it?

This show is non-canonical. That means that each episode is unrelated and can be watched out of order. There are a few characters who leave the show or die resulting in cast change-ups. Also, the early season does have a few episodes that are canonical, but they aren’t required to understand the show.

Eternium Posted January 15, 2023 Posted January 15, 2023 4 minutes ago, Legend E said: oh perfect thank you Just be prepared. The first four seasons are legendary and pretty great. Season 5 has some moments but the show starts to dip and the creator gets preachy. It has a lot of weak episodes, but nothing quite as bland as what The Simpsons experienced and nothing as godawful as what TBS did to American Dad. In recent years the show has gotten better and the current season has been incredibly funny so far.
