Mariya Takeuchi Posted January 7, 2023 Posted January 7, 2023 Naomi Ackie - Whitney Houston: I Wanna Dance with Somebody she's the only good thing about the movie & all the reviews agree
Mr.Link Posted January 7, 2023 Posted January 7, 2023 The faux outrage over Blonde it’s not nearly as bad as 99% of the other films but they think they’re being clever making a feminist statement when this is clearly not the forum to do so.
Gottasadae Posted January 7, 2023 Posted January 7, 2023 Blonde deserved all the noms, disgusting movie and portrayal of an Icon

There are literally nominations for Males and Females atrl also made it seem like Harry was top 3 Worst actors last year (having celebratory threads about critics dragging him) so it's really funny to see yall come out and try to defend his non-inclusion in this list users rly cant admit something they dislike isn't that bad

I'm just pointing out his performance was widely criticized by critics and the GP while Naomi's performance received overwhelmingly positive feedback (even if the movie didn't). Despite this, only Naomi ended up with a Razzie nomination. Based on this, you're telling me there isn't misogyny at play?

The movie and Alicias performance were horrible. I don't get Naomi's nomination tbh. The movie was not that bad at all and neither was her performance.
