Should Cuff It count? It just crossed 300 Million

Why is there 2 versions of Sativa:rip:

Not Jhene cutting out Slim's verse on the album:toofunny3: I forgot that version was on Spotify

Hmmm I’m on the fence.

Great list! R&B is alive and well. I just wish labels invested a little more last decade. An artist like Elle Varner should not have been dropped before a second album.

I don't think so. While Cuff It is definitely R&B, I know your goal has been to bring awareness to the new generation of R&B girls based on your last few threads. Slowly I'm seeing people bring these names up in conversation around the site when talking about new pop girls or young Grammy award-winners, so your mission is working.

Looks like a good list to me! Only other song to come to mind was Essence but that's just a Tems feature @Armani?

They aint really market it as a R&B song

It only got Pop airplay. I'm surprised they never even sent it to Urban radio:rip:

Elle Varner debut album was so dope.

EDIT/OT: I do think "Cuff It" counts and should be included. It's not like we have tons of R&B legacy icons who are releasing songs competing within the modern zeitgeist.

Why was Boo'd Up so huge? Honestly, it's one of the most bland R&B songs out there.

That was the remix lol.

Not sure if the remix counts but The Weekend has 777 million with its two versions combined

I would love Apple Music to reveal its numbers and see how the list changes. Hrs & Hrs has 138 million on Spotify but I think it was a lot bigger on Apple.
