Ger Posted January 3, 2023 Posted January 3, 2023 Nat King Cole, omg finally!!!! Congrats, this is huge! Congrats Mimi Quote Brenda Lee’s “Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree,” originally released in 1958, keeps at its No. 2 Hot 100 high (for a ninth total week since it first reached the rank in December 2019) and tops the Streaming Songs chart, dancing merrily from No. 2, for the first time. (Its total of raw streams is the week’s second-highest – 46.87 million, just below the 46.895 million logged by Carey’s “Christmas” – but Lee’s hit leads Streaming Songs due to the application of weighting to all titles’ paid/subscription and ad-supported on-demand streams and programmed/radio streams.) “Tree” also drew 20.9 million in airplay audience (down 29%) and sold 2,000 (down 58%). Awesome for Ms Lee
allforyou Posted January 3, 2023 Posted January 3, 2023 MARIAH I think she'll be able to surpass Old Town Road's record by 2025
Sweetestsecret Posted January 3, 2023 Posted January 3, 2023 If Santa tell me peaked at #11 this year
pride4jc1222 Posted January 3, 2023 Posted January 3, 2023 (edited) I'm happy that Nat King Cole made the Top 10, but I'm annoyed that Unholy keeps on hogging that #10 spot. I'd much rather Kill Bill or another Christmas song have the spot. I wish Sam and Kim would just go away already. And RIP AHJC Edited January 3, 2023 by pride4jc1222

Yeah, all that may happen but sadly, I honestly don't see it but we'll see.

December and early January shouldn't be this stagnant. Metro Boomin and SZA would have been #1 for the first time had it not been for this. If Ariana Grande was able to fend off Xmas just 4 years ago there is no reason that other songs can't fend them off either.

Their streaming was equal on Xmas last year and there was a widening during other weeks with Mariah leading on every single metric.

Is it funny to say that Brenda may be #1 next Christmas? OT: Anti-Hero to probably come back to #1
