I've seen most people say they prefer s2 over s1. I thought the first season was great but now seeing s2 I think maybe covid held them back. This season really raised the stakes. The murder mystery was so much more exciting while the first season had that element it didn't really focus on it too much but throughout s2 you could feel the tension building which probably had more people intrigued there was so many predictions and theories. Plus its a bonus that they actually delivered on the finale, it was a fantastic hour of suspense.

A true pop culture moment   It's such an impressive feat for it to become such a zeitgeist-y show in this era where barely anything is.

 

I'm so excited for season 3, the pressure is on but I trust Mike White's vision to do something else creative and entertaining.
