It's good. She'll drop like a rock next week though, but the german market is difficult anyway

COCC was her third best album, after NFR and UV, until Ocean Blvd came and smacked her ass down to fourth place.

You will not slander or defame Lana’s most cohesive album which features some of her most angelic vocalization.

Blue Balls on the other hand- she deserves all the hate she gets. That title alone is such a bore. Had she gone with “If this is the end, I want a boyfriend…” as the album title, perhaps she could’ve been saved :giraffe:

I’m so glad I didn’t play these pre-release singles out. A&W and The Grants are incredible pieces of work. Obviously the title track is too - but I let myself listen to that a lot around Christmastime

Kintsugi is maybe one of her saddest songs in the last few years. She really snapped on this album

I don’t know what’s worse, the interludes or Meth Necklace sandwiched in between. It might be the latter honestly.

the album however is a masterpiece apart from those 15 minutes, or even with them

I mean I just love this Album so much! I listened to it on repeat since Friday ughhh what a ride, it sounds stupid but it just totally fits in my life right now so thank you Lana :heart2:

I just have two thoughts:

1. I would LOVE if all the tracks would flow into each other like a Mixtape like Beyoncé did on Renaissance it would take me on a amazing right

2. I’m not so happy with TacoTruck finishing the album I love the song and I think the "new" VB version slaps but I don’t know as an album closer, I would love for her to put one or two more songs after it (yes make the 77min album even longer)

just my quick thoughts

Makes sense, America is the best Island in the world.

Think by the 3rd of March, I was cracked open

Finally the ground was cold, they wouldn't open

Brought by the sunlight of the spirit to pour into rain

There's a name for it in Japanese, it's kintsugi

So, has the rumour about a deluxe edition in April been debunked yet? Or are we really expecting a "Did You Know That There's a Tunnel Under Ocean Blvd (And It's Still Close)" edition?

So we lost #1 on billboard album charts?

In order to lose something, you need to have had it in the first place. #1 was never on the table, people were thinking she's debuting Top 5 at best.

Anyone have any clue when Steven In Sterio or Caitlin Marie Reacts will do a reaction to this? They both love Lana and usually post ASAP.

American is her worst song :chick1:

I kinda like the Jon Baptiste Interlude tbh, I like the mood it sets. It's very eerie and chaotic but in a good way, unlike the pastor interlude :foxaylove2:

The Grats and Judah Smith are the only skips for me. Grandfather is cute, I'll listen to that one if it comes on shuffle and I'm in the mood but I won't willingly play it myself.

I think it will be difficult to rank this album amongst her discography. It's kinda like this album exists on a different dimension, I can't put my finger on it but this one stands out so much from the others. I can't say this one is my favorite (at least for now) but it's a remarkable album, she never ceases to amaze me.
