movie Cameron Diaz and Kate Winslet reportedly filming "The Holiday" sequel

HIT Christmas rom-com The Holiday is to get a sequel with its original lead quartet of stars — 17 years on.

The new movie is expected to revisit the relationships that spring up between Cameron Diaz, 50, and Jude Law, 49 and, Kate Winslet, 47, Jack Black, 53.

Its 2006 predecessor saw Brit Winslet swap her home, with American Diaz’s for Christmas.

Both find love in each other’s world.

A source said: “The plan is to start filming next year.

"The main talent are all signed up.”

A film source added: “The plan is to start rolling on scenes next year, primarily in the U.K. and in Europe, but the main talent are all signed up and on board.

The original is my favourite Christmas movie of all time, so I'm kind of glad they're not doing a sequel.  Though I would've watched it, 100%.

The Holiday is one of the best movies of all time, how everything works from cast to music to overall pace. I don’t see how sequel would even work.

Phew. Glad it's not happening. If they do end up making a sequel, they should have Cameron Diaz's character pass the way in the years between the films. Her horrible acting really ruined the first one

Nope, it's huge in the US and all over TV during the holidays. It's definitely not forgotten.
