so, I was re-listening to Art Angels today and I realized it's now 7 years old. :chick3:

surprisingly (mainly because the sound), the album kinda has aged better than I was expecting, so many incredible pop anthems like Flesh Without Blood, Kill V. Maim, Artangels, World Princess II and Pin (!!!) have stood the test of time so well, although others like Easily and California not. it continues to be my favorite Grimes' project along with Visions. :flower:

 

what are your thoughts on Grimes' most accessible yet most critically acclaimed album now that time has passed?

Love this record… it’s so poppy but unconventional. Maybe the last time I felt Grimes was passionate about music! A perfect record tbh 

 

My faves are Easily, Flesh Without Blood, Pin, Venus Fly Trap, Scream, Kill V Maim, Art Angels and California

Played it randomly just the other day, always a fun listen. A shame her stuff now is so whack

it's still incredible. the leap she made in technical ability and production technique between Visions and Art Angels will never not impress me. I really liked what P4K said in their review, calling it basically a portfolio for an extremely skilled producer and songwriter. she flexes so many muscles on it and it has aged really well. 

The impact this album had on me. Truly a moment in my career.

one of the best pop albums of 10's if not the best. a masterpiece that stood the test of time. it still sounds fresh, innovative and etc.

Amazing. Her best album tied with Anthropocene 

A classic, her best album.

Pin is so underrated! This probably will be the best album of her career
