And it's not like Spotify Wrapped came but go on. 

No? After Spotify Wrapped, don't they push a lot of people's most played 2022 playlists? As It Was was released early in the year so of course it's going to be at the top of a lot of the 2022 playlists.

Has AIW always been this strong or was there a jump do to Spotify wrapped?  I have not been paying attention to this song’s trajectory.

It's the fastest song to reach 1.5 billion streams on Spotify, so yes it has always been this strong, although it did get a boost recently.

I knew it was very strong, but I did not realize it was still getting 5 million streams a day.  That is really impressive.

AIW got a huge boost from wrapped

The gap was 600k before the wrapped. So it decreased 400k in less than a week

Right? As It Was has been out since April. Anti-Hero has only been out for little over a month. Seeing how close they are, I’d say Anti-Hero ends up looking stronger 

It's been a while since a mega smash hit has completely stumped me as to its popularity. I understood the hype behind hits like See You Again and Despacito even if I couldn't stand them but As It Was is the musical equivalent of beige.

 

A completely bland song that goes absolutely nowhere by an artists whose PR image is  profusely more interesting and exciting than he is as a person. 

 

I can see 2 maybe 3 weeks tops, but 15 weeks at #1?

 

I will never understand white American girls and their never ending obsession with British men. I mean I get The Beatles, The Stones, Bowie, Boy George and George Michael, but Harry f*cking Styles?!? The bar is in hell.

Anti Hero didn't decrease at all. Their difference was 900k this Monday. Harry’s streams are increasing in general because of his stadium shows in LATAM. 

I will never be surprised of someone surpassing Anti Hero and I was attacked for saying the truth the song won't have longevity
