So all a song has to do to be considered bigger globally is chart in more countries, even when another song has higher peaks on most of the same charts? Read that slowly in your mind for me and tell me if it makes sense friend.

why do you have to add a "bigger" before the word "global"

this thread is not about "bigger globally"

it's about the "most global"

look at the thread title with your weak eyes

if there's no difference between "most global" and "bigger globally"

No, you could have a case with HDL which basically went #1 almost everywhere.

Waka Waka is one of but it is not the most global song. Its Hips Dont Lie, another Shakira global classic 

Football is bigger than pop music so yes obviously.

 

Gangnam Style is the only one that came close.

There are people who don't know anything about western/latino or spanish music in general, but still know who shakira is.. and I believe that's not the case with other female artists/celebs..

Flowers and Bad Guy are bigger though.
