I’m more nostalgic towards the ex acts but gen-z will be more successful, have longevity, better visuals, ect. My two faves are Selena Gomez & Olivia Rodrigo. Also Ariana is kind of carrying the ex acts :rip:

What group do you like better?

Gen Z because I stan Billie and casually listen to Doja and Olivia.

More successful?

Gen Z seems like will end being more successful, Demi drags the ex-acts down and Mile is a non-factor nowadays.

Will have more longevity?

It’s too soon to tell but Miley’s longevity was too short and Demi was never the it girl so the Gen Z girls may end up being more successful.

Better visuals/work?

Billie > Doja > Selena > Olivia > Ariana > Miley > Demi >>>>>>> Dua

Your fav?

Billie and Selena are my faves. I really like Doja and Olivia. I dislike Dua.

K bye for now, Sunshine. <3

I prefer the ex acts because of nostalgia mostly. ive followed them since i was a kid and always will. overall gen z girls are gonna be bigger because the ex acts had a huge hill to climb to be able to become adult stars after being on disney/nick. i cant judge who is better cos im too biased toward the ex acts. but imo the gen z girls are more consistent and polished but the ex acts have more charm and interesting personas.

She can't sing, dance, write a song, has mediocre success compared to Miley and Ariana, so no.

Isn’t Olivia would be considered ex act since she was on Disney? I don’t get the term

Wait :rip: tea

but I havent heard her being grouped with them much, so :dies:

(+u are the only one who caught the tea :eli: )

but she does lean more into a "gen-z's" title, since she is more popular and more connected to them

while the "ex-acts" all acted in their shows around the same time...that's why JT,Xtina and Britney aren't really seen as ex-acts (or grouped with them) either [despite them being in sort of the same situation, with a "disney" show]

I mean..if we are gonna create a stan explanation at least :cm:

The Gen-Z girls are bigger, Demi and Selena can't really compete with the others so they kind of bring their side down. I'm more attached to them though, I grew up with them.

Ariana and Dua are my favourites, the others are all in a grey zone for me, but I like all of them in one way or another.

The talent in the ex acts group though... Ariana, Demi and Miley stomp effortlessly on any other girl mentioned in this thread. They can't even come close to them. :deadbanana4:

Gen Z is easily bigger though. Demi and Selena have never come close to the success of Bad Guy, Driver's License or Don't Start Now. Demi no longer cares about hits and has stopped chasing them, Selena and Miley are a hit and miss. Ariana is the only one consistent with success.

Talent: Ex acts (even if that means including Selena)

Success: Gen Z

The Ex-Acts in terms of talent alone WIPES both the Gen Z and the millenial popgirls 00s popgirls by a MILE.

Miley, Demi and Ariana alone >>>>>

But commercially Gen Z are probably bigger on average, though Ariana is the biggest and has entered main pop girl pantheon beside Taylor, Rihanna, Beyonce, Gaga, Katy, etc.
