I know what you mean, but I think it’s because of the people she’s surrounding herself with during this era like Feldmann, as we know she co-writes a lot of her stuff. You can definitely feel their influence on a lot of the songs, but if we continue to get songs like Avalanche, Mercury In Retrograde and Bite Me, they can stay! I’m A Mess is a masterpiece, the bridge and last chorus are beyond. Pity Party > Mercury in Retrograde The acoustic tracks are all good and give the songs a good spin, specially Bite Me and LIWYHM.
