Human beings make mistakes. And they deserve the chance to learn. Why do we cling to past events instead of trying to see someone for who he is now? The past is the past. And Chris has apologized. He has suffered so many consequences. It’s time to let this go.

Chris Brown is an R&B legend, if you like it or not. Same way MJ is a legend. You can enjoy their art and give them their flowers solely for that without having to praise anything else they did in their lives.

this would have the tiniest bit of validity if Chris didn’t go on and continue to have a history of violence, assault, and abuse for the next decade following the Rih incident. :rip:

Your fave has literally forgiven him and continue dating him. She's moved on. y'all need to as well. this **** happened over 13 years ago. some of y'all probably weren't even born when it happened.

Chris Brown is unlikeable in general, AMAs should promote real role models for the children who watch the show

I didn't know that. I mean if he's still a hazard to women and his success supports the abuse, he needs to be stopped and not supported. Can anyone post reliable articles about recent cases of his abuse etc.?

Some people don't deserve a second chance, and Chris Brown is one of them.

For those who are ignorant and think all he did was beat up Rihanna that one time, HERE's a timeline of violence towards women. Everything from threats, to punches, to AGGRAVATED RAPE. And the most recent case is a 20M lawsuit for drugging and raping a woman in December 2020.

He WON'T EVER CHANGE. He is a PIECE OF SH!!T and HE'LL ALWAYS BE A POS.

I am beyond disappointing that these women whose talent have come out of the woodwork to defend this garbage human being.

People love to give passes to these terrible men that's how we end up with Kanyes.

I wish they showed some of this energy to support other females in the business.

Personally, Chris would be able to nail the dance moves and perform the tribute like it should be perform. So yeah, I would rather him perform than a Jason Derulo.

She's my fave but Ciara is a bit of a bird & this is nothing new;

On working with CB on turntables she said "let the music speak for itself"

On working with R Kelly she was "just grateful to work with a legend"

Her GMA interview promoting I'm out was so tone deaf and out of touch that it's been scrubbed off the internet;

On Beyonce's new found pro blackness & social commentary she said "i don't care about none of that" & when questioned about using the n word for the first time in the song she said "idc about who uses it as long as it's from a place of joy & fun".

Imagine supporting Chris Brown after everything he’s done. Gross and these women surely can do better than this I’m sure.

Look up the cycle of abuse; it's not uncommon, and sadly expected, that victims will go back to their abusers. I'm pretty sure the number is 7, it takes 7 times for a victim to actually get away from their abuser.
