It makes zero sense to me the concept for live-broadcasting awards when they dedicate 3 hours and only announce 3 awards. The vast majority of winners are announced previously, it's just. :rip: Plus fan-voted awards suck, predictable af.

Everything they did was bad. The line up was boring, their nominations had big ?! on them, putting dance songs/album in R&b category and putting r&b songs in pop categories and more. And it ended with them announcing almost all awards before the show even started, only 3 or 4 in the show announced and everyone can 100% predict the winner of them.

I'm surprised they even got 1 person watching.

No promoted Cardi as a host, no ratings.

No Bad Bunny, no ratings.

This was to be expected.

These shows formats are exceedingly outdated every year. They need to be broadcasted on streaming platforms with limited commercials and limited to 2-2.5 hrs tops. Younger gens ain’t sitting through all the boring **** and endless commercials.

hopefully the grammys also flop hard like this and these shows die by the end of this decade. im sick of the concept of award shows. they just havent been thrilling since 2015 anymore and we all know it.

More televised awards (why not all of them) and less commercials and performances. That's the literal solution.

I second the concept of award shows dying. Cable is not the mainstream anymore and with that award shows should perish as well.

Because no one actually attends them anymore. It’s crazy to think that a decade ago you could see Beyoncé, Rihanna, Lady GaGa, Katy Perry all at the same awards show. Now no mega star could be bothered to sit through them anymore.

One of these award shows needs to HEAVILY reinvent their entire product, like idk what they could do but it should be completely different to what it is now to the point its unrecognizable and brand new. Crazy how televised award shows and cable in general have been dying for several years now yet haven't seen any reinvention....there are millions of ways to make yourself relevant you just have to be cognizant of the new factors and use them to your advantage: social media platforms, tiktok, short attention spans, etc.

The actual award winner have become too predictable & that makes it boring when your rewarding the same tired artist over & over again.
