Well if she writes the books first why not, screenplays are not her forte although we will never know the extent her original screenplays where trimmed down to their final versions but they were not it. 

 

However I can not see her doing this since she is more invested now in the Strike books which are quite succesful on their own.

If they make a Harry Potter film, they need her approval because she owns the IP and copyright unfortunately.
