Great news. I am a fan of OG Degrassi (2001-2005) and it will never have that peak again. Degrassi had its run. Besides, HBO would just turn it into a teen porn romp and they already have a show for that

I didn't plan on watching personally as I had my era of Degrassi growing up but it's weird to know this new generation won't have their own Degrassi, it's always been around.

 

Maybe one day in the future if things work out. I'd love to see it come back with some occasional TNG cast cameos!

OG degrassi started in the 1980s mama. TNG is what youre referring to.

I know dear. My generation refers to the TNG original cast as OG Degrassi

Right now isn’t the time for it, in ten years once Euphoria is a distant memory and the current nightmare at WBD is over it’d make sense to do a better reboot.
 

The Netflix series was awful, so they need something fresh
