Which horror franchise is the most chosen/watched during October/Halloween season?

I mean, of course “Halloween” is the go to, but Nightmare on Elm Street is #2.

Scream is #2 based off BO success. Freddy unfortunately hasn't been that ***** since forever. I miss ha.

Chucky should also be in play, especially given the TV show is a success.

Halloween, Friday the 13th and Nightmare on Elm Street are the October trinity must-watches for me :alexz:

Honorable Mention: Child's Play franchise :jonny:

They are all iconic except The Nightmare on Elm Street cause that one sucks. Strictly speaking about Halloween vibes it's obviously the Halloween franchise that's the best at it. It's actually kind of hard to find many horror movies that happen on Halloween itself, I wonder if the success of Halloween 1978 scared directors off.

My favourite movie from each franchise:

Halloween: Halloween 1978, Halloween 2, Halloween H20, Halloween 4, Halloween 6, Halloween Ends

Friday the 13th: Friday the 13th 1980, Friday the 13th Part 2, Friday the 13th Part III,  Jason Lives

Scream: all of them except for Scream 2

A Nightmare on Elm Street: lol bye, maybe A Nightmare on Elm Street 2

I like it, just less than the rest of the franchise. I find some parts a bit boring.
