FLAallday Posted October 17, 2022 Posted October 17, 2022 Just saw this in theaters and I am ready to discuss! Have y’all gone to see? I keep seeing the headlines that people are throwing up in theaters from gore and intensity.

Jay L Posted October 17, 2022 Posted October 17, 2022 Saw it about a week ago and I loved it The kills were brutal but well done and Lauren LaVera was great as Sienna! No one fainted or vomited in the theater I was at lol but the audience definitely seemed into it
Gossip_Boy Posted October 17, 2022 Posted October 17, 2022 I’m so excited to watch this. I’ve heard it’s a big upgrade from the first one. And with the big box office success hopefully the quality of the movies will keep increasing. I wish it would be released here (UK) theatrically but that obviously isn’t all that feasible so I’m patiently waiting for a vod release.
Khal Posted October 17, 2022 Posted October 17, 2022 (edited) Saw the first one. If most of the "horror" in your horror movie revolves around people getting sliced and limbs chopped, then you've made low quality shite imo (but with good make-up artists and prosthetics). I wonder if this one switched it up a bit. Edited October 17, 2022 by Khal

I wouldn’t say it was scary for me, but I do tend to clench up watching all of the gore throughout. I will say the theater was into too. The movie finds a way to keep you engaged if not through suspense, then through the comedic bits. And I also think the story this time around was a lot more detailed and thought through. Art the Clown has a menacing humor to him that makes him such an interesting villain. I can see a lot of people leaving this movie at the very least thinking how badass the clown was, if nothing else.

Agreed. Still kinda interested in seeing this film though lol.
justin. Posted October 18, 2022 Posted October 18, 2022 I watched the first one, and while I found the hacksaw scene to be hard to watch, I was excited for the second one. I saw the bedroom scene on Twitter over 24 hours ago, and I have not been the same person since lmao. I will not be watching now.
Gossip_Boy Posted October 22, 2022 Posted October 22, 2022 This is incredible for a grassroots indie horror movie with no studio backing and no marketing spend. Its success is the icing on the cake on what has been a fantastic year for the horror genre.

Cheers Posted October 23, 2022 Posted October 23, 2022 omggg that scene in the bedroom Art The Clown is so extra with his kills tgihufsjk! He didn't have to do all that but he's lowkey a queen
Uncatena Posted October 23, 2022 Posted October 23, 2022 the absolutely audacity of the bedroom scene has to be commended and the high camp of the woman's reaction at the end was the cherry on top BUT... this was a boring mess otherwise!
Sweetestsecret Posted November 4, 2022 Posted November 4, 2022 https://www.digitalspy.com/movies/a41857501/terrifier-2-submitted-oscars-consideration/ Oscars? Lol ..
Haus-Of_Mck Posted November 4, 2022 Posted November 4, 2022 It was SO good Art better slay em all he's so ruthless, I live!
Sweetestsecret Posted November 6, 2022 Posted November 6, 2022 That's amazing for this low budget film... This movie should have a worldwide release in theatres.. it did 10 Million in the Usa.. imagine what it will do worldwide on box office.
DoubleRainbow! Posted November 7, 2022 Posted November 7, 2022 Yeah, this is not scary but all this blood makes it so hard to watch.
Tylerbv Posted November 7, 2022 Posted November 7, 2022 This was horribly disgusting. The bedroom scene was abhorrent. The main girl was very likeable and pretty, but the movie is stupid as ****. I’ve seen hundreds of horror movies but this one had me concerned for the director’s mental state.
TrueBlood Posted November 7, 2022 Posted November 7, 2022 Gosh, the final act was so drawn out it felt like a nightmare. At times it was an entertaining movie, but it all felt and looked very confusing to me. The plot doesn't explain ANYTHING related to why her father made those drawings, why that sword existed in the first place, the post-credit scene adds to the overall confusion. And don't get me started on the terrible acting. The killings were gory indeed, but that's it basically. It was a cute halloween movie, but it should have been AT LEAST 20 minutes shorter.
Sweetestsecret Posted November 7, 2022 Posted November 7, 2022 Terrifier wasn't the first movie with Art the clown.. this was the first movie with him . It's a good movie . low budget of course.. but it's scary
