1989, folklore and Lover will all eventually get to 10m daily avg, won’t they?

1989 especially will probably start performing like Midnights currently is whenever the TV gets announced.

Folklore is doing much more than 10 million in August.

Yeah, I mean that I think it’ll get there before then. Lover/1989 first probably.

I wouldn’t be the least bit shocked if Folklore does 15M+ this August :skull:

yeah with her actual interest August (song) is coming for new peaks this year.

All Of The Girls still doing 1M+ :clap3:

I think the predictions people said if Cruel Summer was allowed to chart, it would have been at 52 or something like that. :jonny6:

8 points is still a pretty big gap. Was hoping it would be a bit closer.

But we'll see. Its still going up

and Chris Brown's Under The Influence.

She REALLY needs to consider doing it....I know Karma is the single but she can release Cruel Summer to radio in early July. By then Karma will have finished its radio run for sure and I am sure Cruel Summer is going to continue slaying all throughout the summer. Plus if it is released in July it will have a solid 2 and a half months of summer to smash!

Maybe she can do it a few weeks after Speak Now TV. Karma will probably peak just before SNTV floods the charts and kinda “kills” it (at least until the album bomb dissipates). Cruel Summer is also sort of a perfect song to reminisce on summer memories in the following months (Sept, Oct) so it would have a long lifespan.

Though I’m still not sure this will do that much at radio. 1B on Spotify is all but guaranteed for it this year, at least

Cruel Summer's timing is unfortunate because she has Speak Now TV coming. She may push Enchanted during its release, giving no more room for Cruel Summer to breathe.

AT this point she might as well release it to radio now while the iron is hot. It may cannibalize Karma (or the other way around) but I don't think there's right timing anymore.

I feel like both Cruel Summer and Karma can smash side by side.

Best song on Lover and her best post-1989 pop song deserves.

Cruel Summer passed Anti-Hero on both Apple Music and Spotify US yesterday

Well, anti hero took a hard drop compared to last Sunday. Cruel summer keeps increasing positions. Will it hit the top 10 again? What’s next after that? I doubt her team will let it die without trying to push it but what if they don’t :deadvision:

ME!, The Man, and even Calm Down... WHAT was she doing :deadbanana4:

Taylor should have scrapped ME! YNTCD would have been the perfect choice for the lead single, while OTR was still going strong. Then, she could have released Cruel Summer and Lover as the 2nd and 3rd singles.

I have no problem with The Man being the 4th single because Taylor was pretty much done with the era and it's not like CS would have done well in that slot. Maybe CS would have worked if Taylor made it the 5th single in May/June after the worst of the lockdowns were over and we were heading into the North American summer, but she was ready to move on, as evidenced by folklore being released a few months later.

This has potential to smash harder once the summer arrives, that fact that she didn't release it as single :rip:
