It lacked everything that made the original so special. The only highlights, for me, were Johnny Sibilly and Ryan O’Connell.

It was just OK and kind of... tame compared the original. Also had a weird rollout and strange promotional schedule.

I genuinely didn’t even know it premiered. Peacock is such a flop lol. The only show of theirs I’ve seen anyone talking about online is that one mystery teen show they have and that’s because it became available on Netflix this year and did well there ?

That’s what they get for a sh*tty show. Deserved, tbh. It shouldn’t even have been named QAF to begin with, it has NOTHING the original had.

i've only seen the first episode, but that was enough to realize the show was gonna be lackluster

I was always bombarded with ads for this show during my 30 Rock rewatch. I eventually got sick of constantly seeing the damn Nancy from The Craft drag queen during every ad break.

I tried giving it a chance and clicked through a few episodes. It was extremely cringe and they just had to insert every modern issue into it to be super-duper inclusive but it come off as extremely forced. It was never going to work.

I think the original had such a heavy early 00s influence that was kind of it's charm. Obviously replicating that in today's climate was going to be difficult
