Broken Posted February 1, 2023 Posted February 1, 2023 (edited) https://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/knock_at_the_cabin Where are the reviews? The movie is already out in some countries . 40% on RT confirmed. Edited February 1, 2023 by Broken
Johnny Jacobs Posted February 1, 2023 Posted February 1, 2023 I didnt care for the trailer but my boyfriend is a horror fanatic so were going to see it today in theater. Hopefully its not a flop
ATRL Moderator Ampersand13 Posted February 1, 2023 ATRL Moderator Posted February 1, 2023 Not going to lie, was anticipating a critical bomb (that could perform moderately well at the box office) but reviews have been positive thus far which is a nice surprise!
Roberto Posted February 1, 2023 Posted February 1, 2023 I predict this will end in the 55-60 range on Metacritic, which is...nice. Considering is at 62 in this moment, before the official US release.
MonsterJohn Posted February 1, 2023 Posted February 1, 2023 Old was one of the most stupid ass movie I've seen Split was quite decent though, not sure i'll give this a try

It wasn't shown in Viet Nam so had to wait the longest time to rent it online. Got high, sat down with all my snacks, and... turned off the TV, not even halfway through. The script/dialogue was written like from the most inexperienced amateur newbie in Hollywood. I have always been so fascinated by Mr. Shyamalan's premises and ideas, and Knock at the Cabin is no exception, but considering the burns from previous movies...
Bosque Posted February 2, 2023 Posted February 2, 2023 Parts of this movie were okay, but the ending was just a dud
Dark Phoenix Posted February 2, 2023 Posted February 2, 2023 Shitty film, was expecting something else but the acting was bad (surprisingly the girl gave the best performance) the plot was silly and I never felt immersed in that, the end is just there like: oh ok? I’ll like to check how the book ends but meh not worth the ticket, I’m starting to tick that his overhyped because out of 14 films only 4 are good/acceptable (Signs, Split, Sixth Sense and Unbreakable) I don’t know how he gets away with doing good numbers: Split - $276M Glass - $248M Old - $90M (covid era 2021) And now this one will do easily $100M at least.
Uncatena Posted February 2, 2023 Posted February 2, 2023 8 hours ago, Sweetestsecret said: Hide contents Eric was sacrificed..Andrew and Wen left the cabin. They stopped the apocalypse.. Interesting. Basically both of the most polarizing plot points of the book are changed drastically. Spoiler the “General Audience” just isn’t here for a cute little kid to be killed and then for the ending to be asking if it even saved the world or not.
Lost In Paradise Posted February 7, 2023 Posted February 7, 2023 absolutely horrible and boring. the leads had zero chemistry, there was no atmosphere of dread or any real scary elements at all young daughter was best actor in the film
MadonnasBoyfriend Posted February 7, 2023 Posted February 7, 2023 This movie was so dumb. If you saw the corny trailer you saw the whole movie. Also saw Emma Roberts movie and Jamie Lee Curtis movie this weekend at the movies and yea cabin was by far the worst stinker ever. The girl is adorable and the gays were cute tho.
Godontop Posted February 7, 2023 Posted February 7, 2023 Idk I thought it was a good movie now I won't watch it again
Smarticle Posted February 7, 2023 Posted February 7, 2023 Old didn't even have a proper Shyamalan twist tbh. Judging from the comments in here this will be a cute watch online at 2x speed
