Hector Posted September 21, 2022 Posted September 21, 2022 A group of LA teenagers (Nick Prugo, Alexis Haines, Rachel Lee) arrested in 2009 for stealing from celebrity homes (Paris Hilton, Lindsay Lohan, Audrina Patridge, Orlando Bloom, Rachel Bilson) inspired a media frenzy and a movie (2013's "The Bling Ring" starring Emma Watson). Now, two of them tell their stories. I thought this was a very fascinating docuseries though it doesn't really add that much if you already know the story very well. A must watch though if you loved the movie from a decade ago. Nick Prugo still sounds like he doesn't regret a single thing. He sounded so cocky & pompous in every one of his confessionals. Alexis does sound like she's somewhat matured since her reality show fame but her & her mother were both a mess. Perez Hilton getting interviewed here though. I get why but still... I did feel sympathy towards Audrina Patridge who was interviewed here. Even if she did film many episodes of The Hills there, that home was still her sanctuary and I could see why she could never feel safe again (same with Lindsay Lohan who couldn't live in her house after it was burglarized. @okgo ).
mxoonlight Posted September 21, 2022 Posted September 21, 2022 Ran to watch this this morning. Wish they played the whole clip of Alexis calling Vanity Fair Nick admitting he hired his dumbass defense lawyer because he was hot he didn’t seem remorseful at all Perez continuing to age like milk
