Directed by Sebastián Lelio, The Wonder comes to Netflix on November 16, 2022.

“The Irish Midlands, 1862 – a young girl stops eating but remains miraculously alive and well. English nurse Lib Wright is brought to a tiny village to observe eleven-year old Anna O’Donnell. Tourists and pilgrims mass to witness the girl who is said to have survived without food for months. Is the village harbouring a saint ‘surviving on manna from heaven’ or are there more ominous motives at work?”

I loved the book this is based on. Florence seems to be eating as per usual.

The movie was a bit slow but Miss Florence delivered as usual, she's really the IT girl :clap3:

Probably not the best phrase to use considering the plot, but Miss Flo ate. :clap3:

Yeah, I didn't know what I was watching (a horror, drama, thriller or mystery movie) but it turned out in a very intense movie... :deadbanana4:

Spoiler

And yes, it was more drama than anything.

I kinda knew there was something wrong with the dead brother and the mother kinda feeding the girl in some way (I thought it was breastmilk at first), but the twists were indeed more twisted. :deadbanana4:

Beautiful movie and I need to watch some YouTube video to understand the very last scene.
