Game of Thrones got above 10m live viewers when it aired on TV, it isn't that farfetched. Especially considering how low TV ratings are lately.

That’s similar to the pacing of episodes one and two of House of the Dragon. In addition, Deadline has learned that viewing of episode 3 was up 27 percent on HBO Max compared to episode 2 on the prior Monday

No, they didn't miss it. They ignored it. That's why they're clinging to live viewership (in 2022 ) to try and make it look like it's underperforming.
