Huge! These are global numbers (i.e. House Of The Dragon may have done more globally) and absolutely incredible. The first 2 episodes were a visual feast, so not surprised :clap3:

Ready to see the racists and misogynists fume at this! It is amazing how we are going to have two huge fantasy shows thriving at the same time.

I'm not shading the show, but would Amazon lie?

This is fantasy for the whole family.

I couldn't see it doing bad even if it was awful. There's definitely a hole in the market when it comes to fantasy tv show that you're 7 year old nephew can enjoy with your 80 year old grandma in the same room.

I have no idea what the show is about and it’s just boring

It was really great and well worthy of those numbers. :clap3:

It is a beautiful show.

I have no concept of whether this is good or not :deadbanana2:

But if its good, I'm not surprised everyone I know watched it

I want to watch it but do I need to watch the films first?

No you don’t have too this is a prequel to the movies. It’s a good show and explains stuff for the gp. However, if you want to get into the lore the films are masterpieces.

Incels lost. The way they worked overtime to take this show down with negative bomb ratings and racists comments but the gp said no.

I think I'll wait till the whole thing is out, do we know how long it will take for all the episodes to be out? I'll catch up with the films in the meantime

The fact that it cost a billion to make this :rip:

Also feels like Amazon as a corporation goes against everything Tolkien preached about but :michael:

They are just little salty GoT fans who cant handle that Rings of power crashes and punches HoTD without lifting a single finger in VFX and art department

Tolkien was never anti-capitalist he actually grew up in a wealthy household. He was simply an environmentalist and wasn’t delusional about capitalism like his other rich friends and Tolkien himself hates socialism/communism.

In the writing department... Same level as the last season of GOT so far.

The episodes will come out weekly. The first 2 are out now. There will be 8 episodes in total.

It doesn't sound realistic to me :toofunny3: But good for them, I guess.
