I feel like this is deserved. While they have some great shows and films, there's been so many BTS issues on heaps of them, seemingly more so than other studios, and they've gotten away with it for too long. They've also always been kind of... regressive.

 

That said, decreased competition just means more superhero rubbish on all fronts.

Now that you mention it, why wouldn't they sell most of their shelved movies and projects (that have already been completed) to Netflix or someone else? I get that they can write the loss off their taxes, but if you're starved for cash to the point that you can only afford to release two movies for the rest of the year, you should probably sell a few off to at least break even.
