Seems very odd to me that Fox never tried to do a spin-off or a series in the same universe considering how much this IP is valuable to them.

 

I would expect Disney on the other hand to do anything they can to get this done and capitalize on the universe, maybe for Hulu. 13 episodes season, same universe, different characters and locations. Expand the Buffyverse! There is so much to do!

The show is great as it is. A reboot wouldn’t add anything but another show in the buffyverse would be great.

After the atrocity that was Charmed 2.0 I’m glad they cancelled it. An actual sequel would have been fine but I doubt that they would have been faithful to the lore of the original.

Good! It was unnecessary from the start, as most reboots are nowadays.

 

Instead, how about giving us new and original content. Seems to be a foreign concept these days

SMG would not do it and has told every interviewer who's asked that she's too old to play her. Always with the same gag of putting stakes at the end of her walker. She would do anything but Buffy. She's never even given a tiny glimmer of hope in the zillion times she's been asked by interviewers and they ask her that any interview that she does.

Just curious but why would she be too old to play her if Buffy would age up? Surely she doesn’t think she’d still be 20 something.

 

Sad for Angel and Spike tho. They actually have to be dead.

They should just make another show in the Buffyverse and see who they can get to come back as a cameo - if anything.

 

But I like the idea of them just keeping it at the original series. Joss's shadow will always loom over the show's legacy, and honestly it had a great run as is. It only slightly overstayed its welcome and there's Angel to accompany it as well.

She acts like That as not a possibility for some reason. Look up anytime she's asks the question it's always "I'm too old". She looks good to.. ? 

 

Rip this reboot. Faith reboot back in the day would have been cool
