This is ridiculous, OMG.

Male skew and female skew is such BS.

So basically they're combining HBOMax and Discovery+ into a new streaming service by summer 2023.  They will also be exploring a free, ad-supported option.

Everyone's overreacting about the skew thing as if these companies don't have statistics of their subscribers age and gender :dies: The whole thing does read like a joke though, I lost it at "90 day fiance universe"

The way HBO Max just launched in my country and now we'll have to wait for this again :rip: This time it's a win I guess.

Marketing their content for Male / Femme in 2022 when people are using genderless pronouns and trying to remove gender barriers.

They are completely out of touch with the new generations :rip:

Warner Bros. Discovery To “Spend Dramatically More” On HBO/HBO Max & “Lock Up” Majority Of Casey Bloys’ Top Team

He pushed back against rumors that HBO Max would commission fewer series.

“There was some buzz today about HBO Max [that] we’re going to start doing less series and our strategy is to embrace and support and then drive the incredible success that HBO Max is having. It’s really to the culture and the taste of Casey and the team and the fact that they not only read the scripts, but they fight with all the creatives to make the content and storytelling as strong as possible. It’s at a very unique moment. We think it’s an extraordinary asset, an extraordinary advantage,” he added.

According to sources, the content spend on HBO Max, which will be gearing up for a merger with Discovery+ next summer, is expected to stay flat or increase a little, as WBD remains committed to most of its original programming (except kids/family live-action and animation) for the time being despite unsubstantiated recent rumors that the platform and its programming team may be gutted.

Superman, Batman, WW and then Shark Week right next to it with their whole chest :deadbanana2:

Male Skew HBOMAX son or Female Skew Discovery + daughter

Really don't care right now about any MAX show other than Harley Quinn, and while it's in double danger since they'll be cutting animation down... hopefully the DC brand keeps her. Also people are so naïve, they're still cutting the shows with "bad performance " next year , so everyone better be streaming their faves lmao
