This dont really affect me since I dont use it and I dont care for the their shows but **** them for cancelling Raised By Wolves! That show is one of the best shows I've seen in a good while. Cant believe they pulled the plug on that.

This is one of the stupidest decisions I’ve seen in a long time. If this does indeed happen Warner/Discovery will see some massive losses. I will not be keeping the service if this goes through.

its not for absolutely no reason, its because he is a misogynistic, racist piece of **** who only sees dollar signs and promised investors to make money he knew he could never make, hence over 70% of HBO Max employees are being let go and they are focusing on cheap programming, which isn't scripted shows.

I wonder if this decision will affect the ratings of some of the HBO shows that were popular through HBO Max. Some people cut the cable already and were watching many HBO shows through the HBO Max streaming app and this rings true because most of the ratings and data collected were from streaming numbers. Some of these HBO shows were flopping on cable alone and streaming numbers boosted their viewership. I think this will definitely have a ripple effect on existing HBO content.

My thoughts exactly. This will definitely affect some of HBO's content. Some of these shows were popular on streaming while flopping on cable. If you look at how HBO collects their data on ratings for certain shows, 90% of it was from streaming through HBO Max. Some of these shows were pulling in 200,000 viewers on cable and 5 million on streaming. That is a huge gap. I'm curious to see how this will play out.

No. WB holds the rights. Even if they were to eventually go to another company they can’t bring their Warner Bros properties with them. WB owns them. They are considered the creator.
