The fact that discovery is canceling highly requested projects, but it’s willing to give the green light to cw crap and the idea of a popstar getting a main role with no acting experience.

The fact they cannot even get Cavill to do a cameo and are not even capable enough to recast superman…

DCEU is truly dead, let’s hope the Batman brand doesn’t get axed.

That’ll NEVER happen  You do know Batman was a grand success, right? Even if it weren’t, Warner Bros would continue to pump out content just to hold onto the rights just as Fox did with X-Men up until the merger happened.

 

I do agree that they’re dead though. They’ll continue to have successful solo outings and some will even get sequels, but as far as the DCEU, they’re all over the place and don’t know what they want to do. I still think they should’ve used Justice League as a soft relaunch for the universe and they should’ve given each hero their own film(s) and introduced other characters in those movies with the potential to have a spin-off(s).

I know, but so far I'm seeing that Discovery doesn't want to spend that much in the DC brand, how many new DC movies have been announced ever since they took charge? Literally 0, that comic con presentation was embarrasing. There's also no new shows ever since peacemaker...

I guess most generous interpretation is that they're willing to dump all this in order to relaunch with a fresh slate? Maybe build out from The Batman as movie 1 in a new universe.

Zoe Kravitz deserves her own Catwoman movie after she's done with Batman trilogy. The original Catwoman was promising but they botched it hard unfortunately.
