Was Chromatica inspired by Madonna?

It seems like Gaga has picked producers that have been working with Madonna beforehand:

BloodPop, Skrillex, Rami Yacoub - Rebel Heart album

Honey Dijon - MX remixes

Was Gaga inspired by Madonna's roster?

Yes, it's inspired by Vouge and Confessions on a Dance Floor but... worse

Interesting take, since even with the benefits of poptimism and critics rating pop albums significantly higher than they did 15 years ago, Confessions has a higher metacritic score than Chromatica.

everything she has done was inspired by madonna, but in more annoying manner. same thing is for beyonce (tina turner, janet jackson, even lady gaga).

I'm not sure unleashing BloodPop is something you should be proudly claiming

Yes! Gaga has never felt the need to hide her inspiration in Madonna and has praised her throughout her career in contrast to how Madonna attacked her out of her own egotistical needs while also not having the balls to critique her to her face. There are clearly moments on the album inspired by her music such as Babylon and they're great!:gaycat1:
