Literally everything they do for shows, besides Stranger Things, is complete crap. They always find a way to ruin things. For example that Winx reboot. Millennials grew up watching Winx, why the **** would that audience want to watch a depressed teenager version of it?

They could very well be targeting the early 2000s nostalgia club, but they can't throw this ugly aesthetic that looks so sad and colorless/lifeless.

Stranger things is complete crap. I couldn’t even get through a few episodes and cut it off. Probably the most boring slow moving show I have ever watched. Don’t get the hype for it at all.

Yes and we want original stories for them, Netflix is often using streotypes to portray them. Most of the time it is cringe and audiences agree :rip:

Netflix is so dumb tbh. the formula to get people to STAY is to air one episode a week for all of their popular shows!!!!! THATS WHAT GETS PEOPLE TO STAY!!!!!! they are so stupid, and this decline is well deserved. If they go to **** its bc they brought it upon themselves.

Do they have any more workers to lay off and passionate animations projects to cancel in favor of another cheap movie with tiktok stars ? Let's see

This is what happens when a company gets too brave and builds their business plan based on them being a monopoly. When the monopoly cracks, so will they...

That's what happens when you inflate your prices but don't adjust the quality of your content to justify the membership price. I only ever get a Netflix account when I know a new season of a good show is coming out (like Stranger Things). You have to sift through a lot of rubbish on Netflix to find something good.

I still watch Netflix on daily basis, I think they’re more than fine. They still gain profit.

I mean, they are still the biggest network in subscribers by far despite the loss

And they’re <5% of the population. What’s the percentage of shows with minorities on Netflix right now?

Television isn’t based on percentages though. It’s based on the story the writer wants to tell. I’d agree that just throwing in a token minority character for diversity points is lame and they need to start serving us better quality. However minorities exist and deserve representation in the entertainment industry just as much as the majority does. Especially since minorities are the ones setting the trends. Like, y’all ain’t gonna bite off us and not include us. No ma’am :giraffe:

End Netflix and release Stranger Things 5 in the cinemas next summer ( 1 episode per month , total of 4 episodes of 1 hour and 45 min )

i think its kind of inevitable.

If you look similar threads from 3 years ago, many predicted this once all the studios have settled with their own streaming services. Its not just the quality of content alone, but the quantity of quality.

Studios have decades, and in the case of WB, more than a century of content ready to publish. Once the studios take back their content, Netflix lose subscribers.

And Their business model depends on it, unlike say Amazon who can afford to lose subscribers, or studios which has a theatrical component.

That said, they produce some really good content. But they're always bound to play catch up, especially now that studios got their own services.
