No. Cher submitted Dancing Queen for Dance album in 2018 and Gaga submitted Alice for Dance Recording in 2020. Dua also submitted Hallucinate there

 I remember Gaga/Dua's submissions and I felt the same way too. It's just that I noticed the Dance category has become very snobby. It's been purely DJs over the last years. Even when Dua won it for Electricity it was with Silk City.

 

Unlike a decade ago when Gaga and Rihanna won it with Poker Face/Only Girl.

and they got 0 noms, electronic dance categories are done awarding pop divas unless it’s a collab with big electronic act.
