Sharapov Posted July 15, 2022 Posted July 15, 2022 user vote in RT is useless. they even rated high jurassic world: dominion check letterbox for that
ALittleGauche Posted July 16, 2022 Posted July 16, 2022 Lol as always ATRL are quick to jump the bandwagon. This was a fantastic movie and a faithful adaptation of the book. A flawed movie but more than makes up for it in all its earnestness. I understand why the crowd lapped it up.
ALittleGauche Posted July 16, 2022 Posted July 16, 2022 Meanwhile, Sony/3000 Pictures/Hello Sunshine’s feature take of the Delia Owens novel, Where the Crawdads Sing, is coming in ahead of its $9M-$10M projections with $15.5M-$16M in 3rd. A small win here for a $24 million production before P&A. Some rival estimates believe the pic might be able to hit $17M. The 74% skewing female movie is winning over its core audience in its big screen treatment, with 4 1/2 stars, 87% positive, 70% recommend on PostTrak, and an A- CinemaScore. Those fans who showed up clearly didn’t read reviews, as critics weren’t won over by the 35% Rotten. The audiences have spoken. Lol poor critics.

chiliam Posted July 17, 2022 Posted July 17, 2022 Cant wait to see this in theater in Sep. I was about to skip it but the audience score gives me hope it would be decent enough and to hear Carolina in theater is a plus

Donquizote Posted July 18, 2022 Posted July 18, 2022 17M against production budget of 24M Thank you Taylor Swift.
Mr.Link Posted July 18, 2022 Posted July 18, 2022 This looked bad in the trailer right out of the gate. Not surprised it’s panned.

Buffy Posted July 18, 2022 Posted July 18, 2022 Queen of the Damned got a 17% critic score and 66% user score. Both are wrong. I’d give that movie 100%. Can’t always trust either.
Donquizote Posted July 22, 2022 Posted July 22, 2022 It already grossed 25M against production budget of 24M on the first week. Critics LOST again me thinks.
Venom Posted July 25, 2022 Posted July 25, 2022 Finished the book through Audible in the AM and then went to see the movie in the PM. Minor changes but overall the movie was good. A few corny romantic scenes which is why I feel the critics hate it but nothing terrible. Also, if I didn’t read the book, the court scenes might’ve felt slow but because I knew what was coming it felt fine to me. Wanted to tear up a few tunes but didn’t because I was in public. Also Tate and Jordie actors
Donquizote Posted July 28, 2022 Posted July 28, 2022 46M after 2 weeks. Perhaps Ms Taylor snapped here

HoG barely broke even while WTCS already did.
