Call me stupid but I also didn’t see this twist, I loved it. I mean the first is a better horror movie but this was great. Loved both.

Queen Esther's lack of facial de-aging was a bit distracting but I can overlook that since they didn't wanna use CG. The use of forced perspective among other practical effects was really clever. A surprisingly solid little prequel.

Not using CGI was very smart. Ensures this film won't age like milk like every superhero movie
