Part one was better, but this one was good also.

The detective dying was where the film became interesting.

That said, if there's a part three, it needs to be the last tbh.

this! agreed. a trilogy would be cute but only if they have a worthwhile story to tell. anywhere i can watch this on streaming? wanna support miss esther

I just watched the first one, even tho the reveal had been spoiled to me (and was still shook) and I loved it.

I watched this one…. Call me stupid but I also didn’t see this twist, I loved it. I mean the first is a better horror movie but this was great. Loved both.

PERIOD. The ending was a little weak imo but it didn’t outstay its welcome since it was only 90 minutes. Solid 7/10 entertainment. :clap3:

Queen Esther's lack of facial de-aging was a bit distracting but I can overlook that since they didn't wanna use CG. The use of forced perspective among other practical effects was really clever. A surprisingly solid little prequel.

Omg I was wondering how they did some of the shots where she looked shorter. Not using CGI was very smart. Ensures this film won't age like milk like every superhero movie :clap3:
