Queen Esther and the Save The Last Dance acteuse looked camp right in the eye, I fear.

Spoiler

The smoothie and carjacking scenes :ahh:

It's predecessor was better but I still thoroughly enjoyed this. Cold open and final act were both great. The middle was light on the scares but the twist more than made up for it.

Spoiler

Even had me feeling bad for Miss Esther at some moments :dies:

While I admire all the camera tricks and practical efforts to de-age Esther, I think they could've used a BIT of CGI or prosthetics on her face specifically and gotten away with it. It was still tough at times to suspend my disbelief that she's supposed to be younger here than in the first film.

7.25/10 (I'd give the first one a solid 8) :clap3:

De-aging CGI never looks good, so I'm glad they didn't go with it.

Loved the plot twist, made the second half of the movie much, much better.

This was dope. Julia Stiles lines and line delivery were excellent in this and had a grand time at the movies seeing it

Julia and Isabelle stole the film, nobody else stood a chance! Queens were eating every line and scene

I liked the twist, but the rest was pretty bad.

I knew there was a twist coming in on the movie, didn't know exactly what, but it was one of my guesses, well, partially.

It was a decent movie, I still think the og is superior; Julia Stiles was very good on this :clap3:

If they use the deepfake technology like they did with that tom cruise video then yeah it could work

Just finished this. I knew that exact twist was coming from the moment she met back up with the family :rip:  I think the first movie's final reveal shocked me more than this twist reveal but it was still a fun movie. I agree the last half was too rushed.

I liked this a lot more than I was expecting! It was a fun twist

Part one was better, but this one was good also.

The detective dying was where the film became interesting.

That said, if there's a part three, it needs to be the last tbh.

So good. I loved every minute of it.
