D_Man3379 Posted August 21, 2022 Posted August 21, 2022 Lmao the twist was hilarious, I love it. Julia Stiles honestly ate, she surprised me.

Spoiler The smoothie and carjacking scenes It's predecessor was better but I still thoroughly enjoyed this. Cold open and final act were both great. The middle was light on the scares but the twist more than made up for it. Spoiler Even had me feeling bad for Miss Esther at some moments While I admire all the camera tricks and practical efforts to de-age Esther, I think they could've used a BIT of CGI or prosthetics on her face specifically and gotten away with it. It was still tough at times to suspend my disbelief that she's supposed to be younger here than in the first film. 7.25/10 (I'd give the first one a solid 8) @rooby.booby @The Witch Edited August 22, 2022 by Reverse Warholian
Hurem Posted August 21, 2022 Posted August 21, 2022 De-aging CGI never looks good, so I'm glad they didn't go with it. Loved the plot twist, made the second half of the movie much, much better.
MadonnasBoyfriend Posted August 22, 2022 Posted August 22, 2022 This was dope. Julia Stiles lines and line delivery were excellent in this and had a grand time at the movies seeing it
Bombshell Posted August 22, 2022 Posted August 22, 2022 Julia and Isabelle stole the film, nobody else stood a chance! Queens were eating every line and scene

xrosup Posted August 22, 2022 Posted August 22, 2022 I knew there was a twist coming in on the movie, didn't know exactly what, but it was one of my guesses, well, partially. It was a decent movie, I still think the og is superior; Julia Stiles was very good on this

drivers license Posted August 22, 2022 Posted August 22, 2022 i wanna rewatch it now that i know the twist. i bet i’ll catch a few easter eggs here or there. or maybe some reaction channels

Gottasadae Posted August 22, 2022 Posted August 22, 2022 Well, I didn't expect that twist but the whole thing was campy af

FameFatale Posted August 23, 2022 Posted August 23, 2022 Just finished this. I knew that exact twist was coming from the moment she met back up with the family I think the first movie's final reveal shocked me more than this twist reveal but it was still a fun movie. I agree the last half was too rushed.

justin464 Posted August 25, 2022 Posted August 25, 2022 I liked this a lot more than I was expecting! It was a fun twist
Theshigo Washidu Posted August 25, 2022 Posted August 25, 2022 Part one was better, but this one was good also. The detective dying was where the film became interesting. That said, if there's a part three, it needs to be the last tbh.
