It's a little convoluted, but if you look up their rules, it breaks down as something like: For a "multi-disc set," each pure copy sold contributes a number of units equal to the number of CDs that are in the CD release, assuming a minimum total runtime of 100 minutes. For example, Taylor's Red TV sales would likely count twice essentially, but the four-disc vinyl is still only two units, not four. This is because the actual CD set is only long enough to be double-disc. For streams, it's a flat 1,500 streams per unit still, either way. For track sales, it's still a flat ten. The above is all conditional based on the label requesting certification as a multi-disc set - so I would guess it's possible for them to not do so, whether intentionally or by mistake.
Siberian Tiger Posted July 11, 2022 Posted July 11, 2022 (edited) Kate That's why radio should be excluded from Hot 100. Edited July 12, 2022 by Siberian Tiger
Ger Posted July 11, 2022 Posted July 11, 2022 F*cking ****, I'm so DONE and over this f*cking joke. F*CK THIS. That fad but cutie Jack Harlow above Mrs Kate? THE HELL IS GOING ON, I'M SO F*CKING TIRED.
LanaDelRey Posted July 11, 2022 Posted July 11, 2022 The way Kate effortlessly outstreamed and outsold everyone in the top 3 but radio still screwed everything up
Green Posted July 11, 2022 Posted July 11, 2022 Some points in the top 10: 1. As It Was 262 2. About Damn Time 242 4. Running Up That Hill 236 9. BREAK MY SOUL 152 I think Harry will get the 10th week at #1. There's still 20 points of difference with Lizzo. Lizzo will have a chance after her album release

Polgg48 Posted July 11, 2022 Posted July 11, 2022 Quote Billboard 200:#10(+2)@PostMalone, twelve carat toothache 31,000 (290,000 units since release). *peak:#2* Quote #10 Big Energy (+1) is this charting in streaming at all? cringe on radio weight

family.guy123 Posted July 11, 2022 Posted July 11, 2022 Do streams from non-user generated playlists (such as Today's Top Hits) count towards the charts? If so, how are those different from playlists curated by radio DJs that people like myself choose to listen to? And if so, why do I never hear complaints about streaming counting for the charts from the anti-radio crowd?
