orange22 Posted July 6, 2022 Posted July 6, 2022 What kind of TV shows & movies do you not get enough of from the current options? What’s missing for you?
Coma Baby Posted July 6, 2022 Posted July 6, 2022 Controversy and ballsiness. Everything's stale as hell.
Abracadabra Posted July 6, 2022 Posted July 6, 2022 I'm over all of the reboots / sequels instead of coming up with new original ideas to become modern classics. Streaming services and TV is doing better than theatrical movies though. Like when you think of how many amazing movies came out in the 90's and 2000's, and of course there are some recent exceptions that are very good, it feels like the overall quality has declined a lot because lots of studios aren't willing to finance projects that aren't guaranteed a profit.
Guest Posted July 6, 2022 Posted July 6, 2022 We need more fantasy shows that are fun and not all depressive tbh
Totami Legend Posted July 6, 2022 Posted July 6, 2022 Camp (Desperate Housewives) Tragicomedy (Scary Movies)
Companion Posted July 6, 2022 Posted July 6, 2022 Good high school comedy movies. Even though it was not a great movie Senior Year kinda filled a spot in my heart with the comedy and high school concept. Now I need more.
Orsay Posted July 6, 2022 Posted July 6, 2022 good comedies that aren’t afraid to be light and corny. I was watching Baby Mama the other day and that movie is so fun to watch, I feel like that genre is gone now :/
slik Posted July 6, 2022 Posted July 6, 2022 Too many reboots/sequels I know big companies are scared to take risks on anything that doesn't have somewhat of a built-in base due to budgets...but I want to see original ideas. I miss mid-budget films too, now everything either costs 10 million or 200 million...what happened to the 50-75 million budget films?
Badgalbriel Posted July 6, 2022 Posted July 6, 2022 Chewing Gum available in a streaming service. No idea why that was removed from Netflix.

Topaz Posted July 6, 2022 Posted July 6, 2022 LGBT werewolf show of adults no highschoolers and a hot alpha and omega couple LOL.
youreyesgocold Posted July 6, 2022 Posted July 6, 2022 Honestly, I need another Glee (despite how bad it got) or Rise. Those show choir musical shows are honestly the easiest way for me to find new music, plus they scratch my musical itch when I haven’t been to a live musical in a while. I could never get into any of the ones featuring adults or using custom music (Nashville, My Crazy Ex Gf, Galavant, etc…). Zooey’s Extraordinary Playlist was kind of good but I fell off halfway through season one because I kept missing the air time and couldn’t find it on streaming anywhere. It seems I live for the high school drama musicals instead.
RihFenty20 Posted July 6, 2022 Posted July 6, 2022 Just FUN, everything is trying to be pretentious now. What happened to fun rom-coms, action and horror. Not everything needs to be nuanced.
PrettyHurts Posted July 7, 2022 Posted July 7, 2022 A good show about college aged people instead of high schoolers (secret life of college girls is TRASH so don’t recommend that)
Smarticle Posted July 7, 2022 Posted July 7, 2022 Gays being the leads of the show and being developed like straight couples without ending in tragedy.
