Poor Bill Skarsgard. On the one hand, I find him hot, but on the other I can't look at his face without seeing Pennywise :toofunny3:

Anyway, this movie looks promising :gaycat5:

This looks interesting. I’m happy they didn’t give too much away in the trailer.

I’m having a hard time understanding what the film is about which is great.

Movie was good…. Though some inconsistencies

Spoiler

Who was the person advertising the airbnb and who was the one who placed the bottle of wine?

Well, AJ called that woman to find out when the most recent tenets were last in the house. He owned many properties and had people booking for him as a form of income, thus resulting in the double booking.

The bottle of wine could’ve been left by any one of the last tenets, really. Maybe they left and forgot it there or maybeeeeeee they never made it out of the house alive! I think that was meant to be left open

Edit: The way I got warned for this post because I forgot to use a spoiler tag.. and then they restricted my account so I was unable to add the tag right away :biblio: Who’s clicking on a thread for a movie they haven’t seen anyway? This forum so unserious! Electric chair for whoever reported me!

I didn't love the movie, but it definitely made me uneasy at times and captivated at times. It showed a lot of restrain too, for the type of movie it could have been.

And I like how the trailer deceived you into thinking this was gonna be an non-stop hostel gore, but it was worse than that and probably the unseen horror is was made me feel uneasy.

It's clear Tess felt guilty about Keith's death so she did not want JT to be left behind. I also appreciate accurate greedy landlord representation in the media during these high-rent times.

And I'm not gonna lie, that scene when Tess killed the incest monster did pull some heart strings on me.

This was good! I am glad it's doing well at the box office.

This surprised me with the direction it took midway into the movie. Turned out to be better because it was shaping to me a usual horror movie with stupid choices being made left and right

Was good. I watched this right before watching the invitation and liked them both

I agree. That was one of my biggest unanswered questions. Who was setting up these double bookings - even the womans tone on the phone seemed VERY shady

I mean, it's good, especially the first part, when it's all about Tess and the IT guy and full of mystery. After that, it became messy as hell, although the twist was very clever and unexpected.

It’s an absolute blast, don’t worry. Some people want to take everything serious so bad.

You may enjoy it, sis

It's just the way the critics and viewers were praising this to high heavens and it's not all that. Not even half that. However, it's not a catastrophe like Halloween Ends
