Of course. The X-Men are better in basically every way.
 

I’m more concerned about whether they can handle them properly based on some of the recent MCU content…

I agree on the X-Men movies being actually good and the MCU having some big shoes to fill, X2 and DOFP are some of my favorite superhero films of all time. With that being said, I have large faith in the MCU doing them justice and I feel like lately they understand exactly what their audiences want to see and are masters of fan service, which is what I feel the X-Men franchise lacked all along. Just one actually decent and long scene of Storm kicking everyone’s ass will be enough for people to praise it to the high heavens, imagine her having a moment like the female heroes against Thanos in Endgame. The reveals will probably be epic as well.

OT: i don't think it will get more attention cause it's not brand new in cinema like avengers was. 

Xmen was already a film series. 

 

They will have a lot of expectations to see what will they do different and they need to bring something huge. Nothing less

Also Mutants will be popping up a lot more this year and next. But the first X-Men film will be about the Original 5 members. You can bookmark this.

I agree with this. I don't see Marvel doing the first class, it lacks the diversity that X-Men is all about.

If I were to guess, the line up will be Cyclops, Jean Grey, Storm, Thunderbird, Nightcrawler and Rogue. Maybe Beast cause he's been an Avenger for a long time, so they could introduce him through X-Men. Colossus most likely come with Deadpool/X-Force.

I know Marvel is probably relying on the original team/animated series for their take but I personally feel like something closer to the X-Men: Evolution versions of the characters would have the widest appeal on-screen  I might be in the minority on this but I loved the whole high school element of that show and I liked how they sidelined Wolverine a bit to give the others some shine. It’s the only show where Jean isn’t useless, Cyclops isn’t that annoying, and we actually get to know some side characters. The characters being younger & still learning would also allow them to fit better into the MCU as a whole so it doesn’t feel like “where have they been this whole time?” If they could combine the magic of that show with some of the more epic moments from the original animated series & comics

THE AVENGERS were d-listers before disney made them into household names. All the attention that they got and currently get should have been what the Xmen should be getting because they were already known before the movies and were already A-listers. Bryan Singer and Fox never did the Xmen justice and never understood it, so i cant wait until Marvel finally does Xmen like its suppose to. 

WAIT WHAT. They’re coming out with NEW episodes of the 1990s cartoon????? Will it be hand drawn and colorful with the iconic theme song????

There’s not a ton of info about it yet but it’s supposed to be a direct continuation of the series and they’re bringing back a lot of the original cast members

BookmarkT cause the original team was a FLOP that nearly got the X-Men cancelled entirely. 

 

There's no way they make the debut film about that boring all white flop of a team. Especially with how diverse the MCU has been this phase, no one is here for an all white 4/5 male cast.

It will be the original team, but it will be diverse cast switched. Cyclops is the only one that’s gonna remain a cis white dude. I said the X-Men film will be focused on the original team. Mutants will serve Representation. But I don’t know why you think it’s so wild, when the original avengers team is literally all white dudes and Scarlett Johansson ?

 I hope they keep the vintage look with hand drawn animation. I’m curious how they’ll animate it.

 

About a new X-Men movie, they better include Jubilee and Gambit. Rogue also needs to be a villain in Ms Marvel to get her super strength and flight powers. Disney better do X-Men justice this time.

The X-Men aren't like the Avengers who work together when it's necessary. They are a TEAM, a FAMILY, that's their core.
