Gwendolyn Posted June 25, 2022 Posted June 25, 2022 According to Daily Star, an industry source said: “It has been decided that the time is right to bring X Factor back. It’s really exciting. Everyone who will be working on the new series can’t wait to get started.” Father-of-one Simon is said to have being having secret conversations with a production company about his plans and has reportedly "struck a big-money deal". However, it's unsure if the new series would air on ITV or perhaps a different channel. https://www.mirror.co.uk/tv/tv-news/breaking-x-factor-set-return-27328357 ..
IBeMe Posted June 25, 2022 Posted June 25, 2022 Unless they REALLY make sure to make the winner a proper superstar then the show will continue to flop all over again. No point in bringing it back.

Galah Posted June 25, 2022 Posted June 25, 2022 Bring back X Factor Australia, the only version of that show that was actually any good tbh.
lover. Posted June 25, 2022 Posted June 25, 2022 They need former 1D and and current LM members as judges on the panel.

storminthedark Posted June 25, 2022 Posted June 25, 2022 And it'll flop like it was for at least 5 years prior to when it finally died Talent shows with the format like X Factor just won't work in today's music industry and Simon isn't clued in enough to work around the problems they'd face trying to go up against Tiktok and other social media. No show has the cultural ubiquity X Factor once had and that's okay, but it needs to stay dead.
LeMésTragique Posted June 25, 2022 Posted June 25, 2022 Katy and Christina will finally be employed again
Just a Gay on ATRL Posted June 25, 2022 Posted June 25, 2022 Oh my god! Burn all these talent shows with hellfire! It’s nearly the mid 2020s.
Stan.killah Posted June 25, 2022 Posted June 25, 2022 Of course he does, easiest pay check to get for doing nothing.
Trent W Posted June 25, 2022 Posted June 25, 2022 Yeah these talent shows don’t have the power to establish an artist. Viral tiktok rising stars have a much bigger chance to establish on their own than with these obsolete shows and labels that have to throw everything at the wall to see if something sticks.
GlamSlam Posted June 25, 2022 Posted June 25, 2022 What will it take for him to understand no one's interested in the X-factor anymore?

Exactly, one of the girl from Idol last season went viral and she dropped out of the show and got a record deal.
Shelter Posted June 25, 2022 Posted June 25, 2022 X factor UK was iconic and it really did have big artists come from it unlike The Voice but I can’t see that happening again. They should try creating a group like they did with Girls Aloud, something a bit different. LM are over so it’s time for a new girl and boy group.
Guest Posted June 25, 2022 Posted June 25, 2022 They should center around forming boybands/girl bands like Asian shows do. Solo acts from these shows flop, but bands have a better shot since every member has its own fanbase.
