I'm sure many people on TikTok don't know who Marilyn is, fine. The thing is, no one can safely assume it's the majority, or even a significant minority of those on TikTok or that follow Kim, and the problem is Kim K's insinuation here is the amount that didn't know Marilyn is enough to justify not only wearing the dress but for the clear damage done to the dress that Ripley's lied subsequently about after the backlash.
