Who's surprised? Beyoncé is the bigger more acclaimed star and always has been.

Beyonce is and has remained, the bigger artist and star. Little monsters can do all the mental gymnastics in the world to try and say otherwise, but the fact remains: Beyonces career>>>Gaga’s

Suddenly outstreaming Stupid Love is the goalpost of King Bey Hive  :sistrens:

Love this little wake up call for them. It truly warms my Spirit.

No since Stupid Love leaked and was a weak lead single.

Both are successful queens so i do not care who outstreamed who.

I’m not surprised, though I’m sure others are as I was told “Bey holds no power in 2022”.

No. Beyoncé is the biggest and most global artist to date.

Not surprised, and she didn't need to be plastered on every playlist avaliable.

Not SL aka a massive flop -according to Hive- being the standard for Queen B :jonnycat:

Beyonce is leagues above Ga ga :rip:

Her fans should stick to comparing her to Katy Perry (and even that is debatable considering she still has less monthly listeners than Katy).

This bestie, preach

Luv Gaga, I just wanted to let the usual racists know a thing or two about reality check by making this thread

Bey's numbers would be shook if Alice was the lead single wbk

I'm actually VERY surprised since the little gremlins told Beyoncé is "over!!11!! since 1961"

0c3fb943195a820a50c9c379c593d75d55c41e8b

Or that "nobody's checking for Beyoncé in 2022222222"

0c3fb943195a820a50c9c379c593d75d55c41e8b

But obviously the goalpost is gonna change now

Now Stupid Love is "a MASSIVE flop!!!!111!!!!"

I'm more surprised that it didn't come close to Adele's lead or Taylor's 10 minute old song since the Hive always says that Beyonce is on the same league as Adele and Taylor, guess not

Stop these useless comparisons. There are 2 aspects you all probably don´t consider.

1. Back then, only 10 streams per user per day counted to the Spotify charts. Nowadays it´s 20.

2. When Stupid Love debuted Spotify had way less users.

You can say that "Break My Soul" outperformed "Stupid Love" when it gains at least more than +6.781.908 on the counters (calculation see below)

Date / Streams for #200 song (factor) / Average streams for Top 200 (factor)

  • 28 Feb 2020 / 724,545 (1.00x) / 1,441,591 (1.00x)
  • 17 Jun 2022 / 865,869 (1.20x) / 1,805,728 (1.25x)

Is that supposed to be good? :rip: The blatant insecurity after months of anti-monster posts

Yes I am surprised.

I was constantly reminded of how huge ASIB was and how big of a flop Spirit was, so I expected the artist coming from a 're-peak' to out-stream the one coming from a 'bomb'.

There were only 280 million active Spotify users when Stupid Love dropped, there are now more than 420 million Spotify users. Beyoncé's comeback is pulling roughly the same numbers as a song from 2.5 years ago When the user base was half of what it is today. :rip:
