_Fey Posted June 20, 2022 Posted June 20, 2022 https://www.boxofficemojo.com/article/ed2960196612/?ref_=bo_hm_hp Opened to $51M in the US, behind Jurassic World's nearly $59M 2nd week, well behind the early projections of a $70M opening weekend. The movie opened to $85M worldwide.
XAMJ Posted June 20, 2022 Posted June 20, 2022 I would say no one asked for this movie and it just didn’t look good.
Power love Posted June 20, 2022 Posted June 20, 2022 Such a shame because the movie is fantastic. Now i highly doubt we will get a sequel even though they were hinting at one in the film.
Shakson Posted June 20, 2022 Posted June 20, 2022 (edited) The movie was terrible I wouldn’t recommended it to adults. Kids may like it though Edited June 20, 2022 by Shakson
CandleGuy Posted June 20, 2022 Posted June 20, 2022 I know people will make jokes but this is a disturbing sign of the times, that a brief lesbian kiss could cause this movie to tank so hard. Should have been an easy slam dunk for Disney and they for sure will not be pushing boundaries again any time soon.

Drowned8World Posted June 22, 2022 Posted June 22, 2022 I'm kinda shock by how weak the performance was in other countries outside US. Only 33M? What happened there?
