Well well well.. Considering that Colombia may be the most US-alligned state in South America is interesting... I guess there's no use being the US's proxy now.

Welp.

Let me keep saving up money and leave the country because the devaluation of the peso and lack of int investment is going to hit hard.

I'm 25 tho.

Coming from being very poor and working so hard for many years, I mostly care about putting food on my family's plate.

Especially now that my parents are older and I'm working to keep everything just right. Nothing wrong with providing another point of view. :giraffe:

Loving the rise of leftist leaders in Latam. Hopefully this fosters greater tricontinental solidarity and increased relations with China, Africa, and India independent of the West. And hopefully he won’t be a disappointment like Chile’s “leftist” leader.

I see the leftists in this site keep living in fairytale land.

Argentina going further left really turned things around for them. /not

Other countries in Latam should be learning some things from successful liberal capitalist democracies like Uruguay, Panama, Costa Rica and El Salvador. Chile is TBD for now.  Not a single country in Latam that tried Communism/Socialism has achieved anything or improved conditions to its people.

People are still really using the old Venezuela “argument” to keep the same nepotist white male structures in power.
