This means that JHud has now achieved EGOT status, becoming the 17th person to achieve this (all in competitive categories/no honorary awards). Academy Awards, Best Supporting Actress - Dreamgirls Grammy Awards, Best R&B Album - Jennifer Hudson Grammy Awards, Best Musical Theater Album - The Color Purple Daytime Emmy Awards, Outstanding Interactive Media for a Daytime Program - Baba Yaga Tony Awards, Best Musical - A Strange Loop RuPaul adds a Tony to his historic 11 Primetime Emmy Awards (the most Emmy wins for any Black individual). Some other producers who won for this musical are Ilana Glazer, Mindy Kailing & Don Cheadle (first-time winners) and previous Tony winners Billy Porter & Alan Cumming.
