Mystic Warrior Posted June 6, 2022 Posted June 6, 2022 So basically a rip-off of Are You Afraid of the Dark? Down to The Midnight Club (The Midnight Society). Yiiiikes.
ang Posted June 6, 2022 Posted June 6, 2022 i loved this book when i was younger i'm sure this will be fantastic
stjosephprey4us Posted June 6, 2022 Posted June 6, 2022 it looks so good, I've literally been waiting for this. I hate them for not releasing it during the summer though. I guess Netflix wants like a one per year deal w Mike Flannigan and since last year had Midnight Mass, this is 2022's, and then Fall of House of Usher won't come till next year. Its annoying they hold on to shows that are ready, like Locke and Key season 3 has literally been finished filming for a year
Taylor Sniffs Posted August 19, 2022 Posted August 19, 2022 My gripe with his Netflix shows is the overuse of fake deep monologues in every other scene. Also, his series are more "horrorcore" than true horror.
Elvenpath Posted August 19, 2022 Posted August 19, 2022 I love horror anthology series. I hope this one will be good.

Gossip_Boy Posted September 20, 2022 Posted September 20, 2022 Looks good. And the Mike Flanagan/Netflix hook up has yet to miss.
fountain Posted September 20, 2022 Posted September 20, 2022 Mike Flanagan, you will always be famous
Miles. Posted September 20, 2022 Posted September 20, 2022 Looks great, can't wait for another Flanagan masterpiece.
saucy Posted September 21, 2022 Posted September 21, 2022 i don't think he is as involved in this as he was in hill house and midnight mass, so i'm a little nervous. but very excited nonetheless
TaggedGalaxy Posted September 21, 2022 Posted September 21, 2022 Hopefully it's better than Midnight Mass, because that show was garbage and the monologues I had to fast forward through them, they were unbearable
Sharapov Posted September 21, 2022 Posted September 21, 2022 the trailer says PRODUCED lol. he probably did nothing else than put money
genetic fail Posted October 7, 2022 Posted October 7, 2022 Oh wow can’t wait to have a heart attack later!

He's more involved in this compared to bly manor, but less compared to midnight mass where he wrote and directed every single episode.
publikcitizen Posted October 8, 2022 Posted October 8, 2022 I just watched the first episode. I am definitely intrigued by the premise and I will definitely be watching the rest. Interestingly enough, it kinda does not feel like it's a Mike Flanagan show. It has a different vibe from his past shows.
Anye Posted October 8, 2022 Posted October 8, 2022 Just finished episode 1. It was cute. The jump scares was necessary imo
josesuxx Posted October 8, 2022 Posted October 8, 2022 I really liked episode 1 and 2 but I can already tell this is not gonna top the masterpiece that was Midnight Mass.
fountain Posted October 8, 2022 Posted October 8, 2022 Only watched episode one so far but it feels a bit too quirky teen-y for me. I hope it gets more mature and darker as the season goes on, otherwise this definitely won’t be at the same level as the other Flanagan shows.
