discussion Your dream job as a kid/what you work as now?

As a child I fully believed I was gonna become a pop star/actor/celebrity and I even had a roadmap for how I’d achieve it. I ended up being a builder/property surveyor

When I was a kid I always wanted to be a professional ATRLer, and its safe to say that I'm on my way to get a 14/14 rank by next year

I worked as a UX Researcher until recently and I’ll probably continue in a similar field. I wrote 2 books worth of stories and poems tho and they are best sellers among my friends

When I was a kid I wanted to be a journalist or psychologist.

 

Now I work for the government to collect tax.

 

I’m not mad about it tho and I like what I do now.

This sounds to cool to me. I wanna work in publishing but I don't live in NY or LA.

My child self wanted to be an Astronaut/Pop Star lol.

But then as a teen I thought being a Music Video Director was like the coolest job.

And now I work in Advertising.

I wanted to be an actor, a writer, and an olympic gymnast. Did a little of all of those growing up (minus making it to the olympics  ) and now I'm slowly building a writing/journalism career.

Adult: Currently unemployed due to health reasons but worked as a waitress.
